Best AI Quoting Software
AI quoting software compared on expert reviews, analyst placements, user ratings, AI quoting features and price, across trades and service quoting, sales quoting and CPQ, and manufacturing quoting, plus the risks of AI-drafted quotes and how to choose.
Quick answer: The best AI quoting software for most people is Jobber, because it is the only ranked tool whose AI drafts the priced quote itself, from each new customer request and the business’s past quotes and templates; auto-drafted quotes come on the Connect, Grow and Plus plans from $99 a month billed annually, according to Jobber’s launch coverage, and Jobber holds a Capterra rating of 4.6 from 1,487 reviews and a hands-on TechRadar review that calls it the “gold standard” for home service businesses. For sales teams sending quotes and proposals, PandaDoc is the better choice, because it has the largest review base of any quoting tool on this page (4.7 from 3,824 reviews on G2) and quotes with a product catalogue from $49 per seat a month. For mid-market B2B teams that need full configure, price, quote (CPQ) software, DealHub AI is the pick, because it holds a G2 rating of 4.7 from 867 reviews and builds quotes from plain-language requests, and for large enterprises, Salesforce Revenue Cloud is a Leader in Gartner’s January 2026 Magic Quadrant for CPQ Applications. The caveat: no independent benchmark of AI quote accuracy exists, so these picks rest on expert reviews, analyst reports and user ratings of whole products, and every AI-drafted quote still needs a human check before it is sent.
“AI quoting software” means three different products, depending on who is searching, and this page covers all three:
- Trades and service quoting. Software that turns a customer request, a site visit or a job description into a priced quote for a plumber, electrician, cleaner, landscaper or other service business. Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8 and Estimo sit here.
- Sales quoting and CPQ. Software that lets a sales team build a quote from a product catalogue, apply pricing rules and discount approvals, and send it for signature. PandaDoc, DealHub AI, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle CPQ, Proposify, Qwilr and HubSpot’s quoting tools sit here.
- Manufacturing and custom-parts quoting. Software that reads a CAD file or engineering drawing and estimates material, machine time and cost for a machined, fabricated or moulded part. Paperless Parts, Toolpath, Xometry’s instant quoting and aPriori sit here.
Five pages sit next to this one, and each does a different job:
- Best AI CRM ranks the customer-relationship platforms (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, HubSpot, Zoho and others). This page covers only their quoting modules.
- Best AI for tradespeople ranks software for running a whole trade business: scheduling, dispatch, AI call answering, invoicing and reviews. This page covers only the quoting part.
- Best AI for construction ranks builder and contractor software, including estimating and quantity takeoff from plans. This page does not rank takeoff tools.
- Best AI for sales ranks prospecting, outreach and call-coaching tools that sit on top of a CRM.
- Best AI automation tools ranks Zapier, Make, n8n and similar platforms that can pass a won quote into accounting or project software.

The three kinds of AI quoting software
| Segment | Who buys it | What “AI quoting” means here | What goes into a quote | Typical buyer price | Tools on this page |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trades and service quoting | Owner-operators and small crews in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, cleaning, landscaping, roofing | AI drafts line items and descriptions from a customer request, job notes, photos or past jobs; some tools add an AI receptionist that captures the request | Labour, materials, call-out fees, optional add-ons, deposit | $29 to $399 a month for the whole business | Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceM8, Estimo, QuoteIQ, Joist, Roofr, ServiceTitan, Tradify |
| Sales quoting and CPQ | Sales teams, revenue operations and deal desks selling products, subscriptions or services | AI builds a quote from a chat prompt or the deal record, applies pricing and discount rules, routes approvals and writes the cover letter | Products from a catalogue, bundles, tiered or usage pricing, discounts, contract terms | $19 per seat a month for document tools to $200 per user a month for enterprise CPQ | PandaDoc, DealHub AI, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Oracle CPQ, Proposify, Qwilr, HubSpot Revenue Hub, Conga, Tacton |
| Manufacturing and custom-parts quoting | Job shops, contract manufacturers, fabricators, and buyers of custom parts | AI reads a 3D CAD model or 2D drawing, extracts tolerances and material callouts, and estimates machine time, material and cost | Material, setup and cycle time, finishing, tolerances, lead time | Free tiers to $1,500 a month (Toolpath); most vendors quote only | Paperless Parts, Toolpath, Xometry, aPriori, Zoovu |
Construction estimating is a fourth, adjacent category: quantity takeoff from architectural plans and bid estimating for builders and general contractors. It is ranked on best AI for construction, not here.
How quoting software uses AI now
Two things define what buyers get when they buy AI quoting software.
AI started drafting the whole quote, not just the wording. Early AI features in quoting software rewrote descriptions. The 2025 and 2026 releases draft line items and prices:
| Vendor | What launched | Date | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jobber | Jobber Copilot, an AI assistant for scheduling, quoting and marketing advice, free in beta to US and Canadian customers | 1 October 2024 | PR Newswire |
| Paperless Parts | Requirements Review, powered by its Wingman AI, extracting tolerances and critical callouts from drawings; private beta, general availability slated for October 2025 | 8 September 2025 | Paperless Parts |
| Jobber | Auto-drafted quotes from new requests, past quotes and templates, plus high-value quote alerts | 6 October 2025 | Jobber product updates |
| Housecall Pro | Fall release with Marketing AI “Write it for me” for estimate and line-item wording, and Analyst AI | 27 October 2025 | PR Newswire |
| Paperless Parts | Wingman 2.0, which it says identifies 14 times more technical elements per drawing than its predecessor | 6 May 2026 | Paperless Parts |
| PandaDoc | PandaDoc app for ChatGPT, which generates proposals from prompts using PandaDoc templates, listed in its June 2026 product update | 6 July 2026 (update published) | PandaDoc blog |
| HubSpot | Quotes built from chat prompts with Breeze, and a Closing Agent (beta) that answers buyer questions on quotes, in Revenue Hub, formerly Commerce Hub | Launch dates not published | HubSpot |
| Salesforce | ”Automatic Quoting with Agentforce” in Revenue Cloud; a customer, AdMed, says it is piloting the new quoting agent | Launch date not published | Salesforce |
| DealHub | A natural-language quoting agent that builds quotes from plain-language requests | Launch date not published | DealHub |
| ServiceTitan | AI agents that “generate tiered estimates and proposals from diagnostics”, listed as coming soon in its Max package | Not yet released | ServiceTitan |
Quoting tools opened up to general assistants. PandaDoc lists “AI & Agents (Claude, ChatGPT, MCP)” in beta on every plan, including Free (PandaDoc). Proposify includes an MCP server that connects it to Claude for creating and updating documents on its Build plan (Proposify). Qwilr includes an “AI assistant integration (MCP)” on every plan (Qwilr). MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT read and act on another application’s data.
How we ranked AI quoting software
A tool is ranked only when there is more than one independent assessment of it from more than one kind of source, following the method on how we rank. For quoting software, the evidence available is:
- Analyst evaluations. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Applications, by Mark Lewis and Luke Tipping, evaluated 16 vendors. Infor, Salesforce and SAP date it 22 January 2026, Tacton dates it 21 January 2026 and Conga dates it 26 January 2026. Vendors also label it differently: Infor and Tacton call it the 2026 edition, while Salesforce and SAP call it the 2025 edition. Infor, Oracle, PROS (now part of Conga), Salesforce, SAP and Tacton each announced a Leader placement, and Conga says its own CPQ was placed as a Challenger. The Forrester Wave: Configure, Price, Quote Solutions, Q1 2025 evaluated 13 vendors and named four Leaders, according to Oracle; Oracle and Conga each announced a Leader placement.
- Expert reviews. Bryan M Wolfe’s TechRadar review of Jobber, published on 2 June 2026 after use in a live environment; Steven Risher’s Contractor Tool Stack reviews of Jobber and Housecall Pro, research-based and updated in July and September 2026; Louis Corneloup’s Dupple guide to field service software, published on 16 June 2026; and Dylan Reber’s Zapier guide to proposal software, last updated in July 2024.
- User ratings with volume. Star ratings and review counts from G2, Capterra and the Xero App Store.
Six limits apply:
- No independent benchmark of AI quote accuracy exists. No credible independent publisher has tested how often AI-drafted quotes from these tools contain wrong prices, missing items or invented line items.
- The trade-software expert reviews are mostly affiliate-funded and mostly not hands-on. Contractor Tool Stack discloses affiliate commissions and paid vendor profiles, and its author says of Jobber, “I haven’t run my own jobs through Jobber yet.” Dupple discloses paid placements and affiliate links. TechRadar’s review is hands-on.
- The newest expert review of proposal software is old. Zapier’s proposal-software guide was last updated in July 2024, before most of the AI features on this page shipped, and its prices are out of date.
- Analyst reports cover enterprise CPQ only. Gartner and Forrester do not evaluate trade quoting tools, small-business proposal tools or custom-parts quoting software.
- Analyst Leader lists come from the vendors. Gartner’s and Forrester’s full reports are paywalled, so each placement on this page is confirmed by the vendor’s own announcement, not by the analyst’s published graphic.
- User ratings cover the whole product. A G2 or Capterra rating for Jobber or Salesforce reflects scheduling, invoicing or the whole revenue platform, much of it before the AI quoting features existed.
Vendors’ own claims, such as time saved per quote, quote-acceptance lifts and customer counts, appear on this page labelled as claims and did not count towards a ranking.
The best AI quoting software by segment
The tools below serve three different buyers, so they are grouped by segment rather than ranked against each other; Jobber is the overall pick.
| Pick | Tool | Segment | Best for | Entry price with AI quoting | G2 rating | Capterra rating | Analyst placement |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best overall | Jobber | Trades and service | Most people | $99 a month billed annually (Connect) | 4.6 (530) | 4.6 (1,487) | Not evaluated |
| Best for sales quotes | PandaDoc | Sales quoting | Quotes and proposals for small sales teams | $49 per seat a month, annual (Business) | 4.7 (3,824) | Data not available | Not evaluated |
| Best mid-market CPQ | DealHub AI | CPQ | Mid-market B2B CPQ | Quote only | 4.7 (867) | Data not available | Nucleus Research CPQ Value Matrix Leader 2025 (DealHub claim) |
| Best CPQ on Salesforce | Salesforce Revenue Cloud | CPQ | Enterprises on Salesforce | $150 per user a month, annual (Growth) | 4.2 (1,565) | Data not available | Gartner CPQ Leader (January 2026); Forrester CPQ Leader Q1 2025 (Salesforce claim, via DealHub) |
| Best CPQ outside Salesforce | Oracle CPQ | CPQ | Enterprises outside Salesforce | Quote only | 4.0 (278) | Data not available | Gartner CPQ Leader, ninth consecutive year; Forrester CPQ Leader Q1 2025 |
| Best for flat-rate trades | Housecall Pro | Trades and service | Flat-rate HVAC, plumbing and electrical quoting | $59 a month billed annually (Basic) | 4.3 (208) | Data not available | Not evaluated |
| Best designed proposals | Proposify | Sales quoting | Designed proposals with interactive quotes | $35 per user a month, annual (Build) | 4.6 (1,144) | Data not available | Not evaluated |
| Best interactive quotes | Qwilr | Sales quoting | Interactive web-page quotes | $35 per user a month, annual (Starter); AI Prefill on Scale at $75 | 4.6 (935) | Data not available | Not evaluated |
The Gartner placement is in the Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Applications (January 2026). The Forrester placement is in The Forrester Wave: Configure, Price, Quote Solutions, Q1 2025. Review counts are in brackets. G2 counts differ between a product’s own page and G2’s CPQ category page; this table uses each product page, except Salesforce Revenue Cloud, whose count comes from the category page.
The best AI quoting software, reviewed
Jobber: best AI quoting software for most people
What the AI does. Jobber AI drafts a quote automatically from the details of a new customer request, the business’s past quotes and its saved templates, a feature launched on 6 October 2025. The auto-draft can run on every new request or on demand with a “Draft for me” button, and the owner reviews the draft before sending it. Jobber sends a real-time alert when a high-value quote is auto-drafted, so the owner can call that customer first. In the mobile app, Jobber AI Voice creates quotes hands-free and can edit line items, add or remove discounts, change tax rates and convert a quote to a job; Jobber labels Voice and Chat as beta. Jobber’s quoting also sends automatic follow-ups by email or text when a client has not responded, and supports optional add-ons, markups and photos on quotes (Jobber pricing).
Independent evidence.
- Jobber holds a Capterra rating of 4.6 from 1,487 reviews.
- Jobber holds a G2 rating of 4.6 from 530 reviews.
- Bryan M Wolfe’s hands-on TechRadar review (2 June 2026) calls Jobber the “gold standard” for home service businesses and describes its quoting and invoicing as “muscular”, with photos and optional add-ons that help upselling.
- Contractor Tool Stack gives Jobber an editorial score of 4.6 of 5 but scores its AI estimating 3.0 of 5, calling the AI drafts “a useful starting point” whose trade-specific accuracy is “still light” (affiliate-funded, not hands-on, updated 27 September 2026).
- Dupple names Jobber the default field service tool for small and mid-size teams (16 June 2026, affiliate-funded).
Pricing. Jobber’s pricing page lists Core at $29 a month billed annually, $39 a month on a one-year commitment or $49 month to month, for one user. Connect starts at $99 a month and Grow at $149 a month for one user, and Plus at $399 a month for five users, all billed annually; extra users cost $29 a month each. Jobber’s help centre says Jobber AI is available on all plans, but the auto-drafted quotes are available on the Connect, Grow and Plus plans, Landscape Management reported at launch, so AI quoting starts at $99 a month billed annually. The AI Receptionist is included in Plus and is a $29 a month add-on on the other plans, according to Jobber’s pricing page.
Watch out for. Jobber’s AI drafts from your own past quotes, so a new business with no quote history gets less from it. Contractor Tool Stack reports that Jobber’s pricebook depth is limited and that it lacks roof measurement tools, so roofers are better served by a measurement-led tool such as Roofr. TechRadar flags a price jump of about 300% when a solo operator moves from Core to a team plan, and basic reporting. Jobber AI Voice and Chat are labelled beta.
Vendor claims. Jobber said in October 2024 that it is used by more than 250,000 home service professionals serving over 27 million properties in more than 60 countries (PR Newswire).
Why it’s the overall pick. PandaDoc has the larger review base, with 3,824 G2 reviews against Jobber’s 1,487 on Capterra and 530 on G2. Jobber is the pick because its AI drafts the quote itself, from the request and the business’s quote history, while PandaDoc’s AI helps write and extract document text and its quote builder needs a human to assemble the line items. PandaDoc is the better pick for a sales team quoting products or services to other businesses.
PandaDoc: best AI quoting software for sales teams sending quotes and proposals
What the AI does. PandaDoc builds quotes and sales agreements with pricing tables and a product catalogue, and its AI features help write and process the documents around them. Its pricing page lists an AI Assistant and AI search from the Starter plan, AI data extraction and an AI document digest from Business, and AI renewal alerts on Enterprise. PandaDoc’s “AI & Agents” connection to Claude, ChatGPT and MCP clients is in beta on every plan. The PandaDoc app for ChatGPT, listed in its June 2026 product update, generates proposals and agreements from prompts, applies the company’s PandaDoc templates and sends them for signature from inside ChatGPT.
Independent evidence.
- PandaDoc holds a G2 rating of 4.7 from 3,824 reviews, the largest review base among the quoting tools on this page; G2’s CPQ category page shows 3,633.
- In G2’s comparison with QuoteWerks, PandaDoc reviewers score ease of use at 9.2 and ease of setup at 9.1, against 8.4 and 8.1 for QuoteWerks.
- Zapier picks PandaDoc as the best proposal software for ease of use (July 2024, affiliate-funded).
Pricing. PandaDoc’s pricing page lists Free at $0, Starter at $19 per seat a month and Business at $49 per seat a month, both billed annually, and Enterprise on request. Custom quotes, pricing tables and the product catalogue start on Business. Full CPQ is an optional add-on on Enterprise only. PandaDoc says it “reserves the right to introduce usage limits at any time” on its beta AI features.
Watch out for. Starter, the cheapest paid plan, does not include custom quotes, pricing tables or the product catalogue, so the real entry price for quoting is $49 per seat. PandaDoc’s AI does not price a job for you; it writes, summarises and extracts. G2 reviewers’ most common complaints are signature issues and missing features, according to G2’s comparison page.
Vendor claims. None used in this ranking.
DealHub AI: best AI CPQ for mid-market B2B sales teams
What the AI does. DealHub describes itself as an “Agentic Quote-to-Revenue Platform” (DealHub). Its AI page lists a natural-language quoting agent that builds quotes from plain-language requests, context-aware pricing logic, AI pricing optimisation with scenario comparison, and generated digital DealRooms that share a quote with the buyer. DealHub’s pricing page lists AI CPQ, AI Conversational Quoting and AI Revenue Analytics, with AI Contract Search and Insights marked “coming soon”. DealHub connects to Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot CRM.
Independent evidence.
- DealHub AI holds a G2 rating of 4.7 from 867 reviews, above the analyst-ranked CPQ suites on G2’s CPQ category page, where Salesforce Revenue Cloud, Conga CPQ and SAP CPQ hold 4.2 and Oracle CPQ 4.0.
- DealHub was named a Leader in Nucleus Research’s CPQ Technology Value Matrix 2025 (November 2025), alongside Conga, Epicor, Infor, Oracle and PROS, according to DealHub’s own summary of analyst rankings.
Pricing. DealHub does not publish prices. Its pricing page names two tiers, Growth and Scale, with a “Request Pricing” button, and does not state which tier carries each AI feature.
Watch out for. DealHub says on its own vendor landscape page that it does not appear in the public Leader claims for the Gartner Magic Quadrant or the Forrester Wave for CPQ. The Nucleus Research placement is reported by DealHub, not confirmed from the Nucleus report. No launch dates are published for its AI quoting agent.
Vendor claims. DealHub publishes customer quotes reporting a 60% reduction in manual quoting steps, a 70% reduction in quote-to-order time and 80% faster quote generation (DealHub).
Salesforce Revenue Cloud: best AI CPQ for enterprises on Salesforce
What the AI does. Revenue Cloud is Salesforce’s CPQ and quote-to-cash product, covering quoting, a configurator, orders, contracts, subscriptions and billing. Its product page describes “Automatic Quoting with Agentforce”, which helps sellers “instantly generate, update, and send a quote”, with product bundling and pricing rules, and AI-powered clause generation and redlining for contracts. A customer, AdMed, Inc., says on the same page that it is “currently piloting the new quoting agent”.
Independent evidence.
- Salesforce is a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Applications, dated 22 January 2026, according to Salesforce.
- Salesforce Revenue Cloud holds a G2 rating of 4.2 from 1,565 reviews on G2’s CPQ category page, the largest review base among enterprise CPQ suites.
- Salesforce says it is a Leader in The Forrester Wave: CPQ Solutions, Q1 2025, according to DealHub’s summary of vendor claims.
Pricing. Salesforce’s Revenue Cloud pricing page lists Revenue Cloud Growth at $150 per user a month and Revenue Cloud Advanced at $200 per user a month, both billed annually. Growth includes quoting, the configurator, order capture and subscriptions; Advanced adds contracts, invoicing and “AI & Analytics” and requires an annual contract. Revenue Cloud sits on top of a Salesforce CRM licence: the CRM’s Core edition costs $195 per user a month, as covered on best AI CRM.
Watch out for. The pricing page does not say which edition includes the Agentforce quoting templates. Salesforce’s older CPQ product (formerly Steelbrick) entered end of sale on 19 March 2025 with renewals still allowed, according to Digital Applied, a CRM services firm that sells CPQ implementation, which reports migration services to Revenue Cloud at $150,000 to more than $500,000. Those migration figures come from a services vendor and are not independently verified.
Vendor claims. AdMed says it expects the quoting agent to “cut manual work, accelerate deal cycles, and get quotes to clients faster than ever” (Salesforce); this is an expectation, not a measured result.
Oracle CPQ: best AI CPQ for enterprises outside the Salesforce ecosystem
What the AI does. Oracle CPQ offers AI-guided selling that suggests products, bundles and services, AI deal insights on margins, discounts and win probability, real-time deal scoring and discount recommendations, and generative AI product descriptions and quote summaries. Oracle says “more AI capabilities” are “coming soon with Fusion”, without naming them.
Independent evidence.
- Oracle is a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for CPQ Applications for the ninth consecutive year, in the report dated 22 January 2026, according to Oracle.
- Oracle is one of four Leaders in The Forrester Wave: Configure, Price, Quote Solutions, Q1 2025, which evaluated 13 vendors, according to Oracle, with the highest score in the strategy categories.
- Oracle CPQ holds a G2 rating of 4.0 from 278 reviews, the lowest rating among the ranked tools.
Pricing. Oracle does not publish CPQ prices; its product page directs buyers to sales.
Watch out for. Oracle CPQ’s G2 rating of 4.0 is the lowest on this page. Oracle’s agentic quoting features are announced as coming, not shipped.
Vendor claims. None used in this ranking.
Housecall Pro: best for flat-rate HVAC, plumbing and electrical quoting
What the AI does. Housecall Pro includes “AI team members” in every plan (Housecall Pro pricing). Its fall 2025 release, announced on 27 October 2025, added Marketing AI’s “Write it for me”, which drafts wording for invoices, estimates and line items, Analyst AI for business questions, and a Bluon integration that lets HVAC technicians scan an equipment nameplate to find specifications, part numbers and replacement options across more than 20 million models. Housecall Pro’s AI writes estimate wording; it does not price the estimate. Pricing comes from the built-in flat-rate price book, with integrations for Profit Rhino and The New Flat Rate, according to Contractor Tool Stack.
Independent evidence.
- Housecall Pro holds a G2 rating of 4.3 from 208 reviews.
- Contractor Tool Stack gives Housecall Pro an editorial score of 4.4 of 5 and an AI estimating score of 3.5 of 5, and says it suits flat-rate HVAC, plumbing and electrical quoting but has “no aerial measurement or takeoff workflow at all” (affiliate-funded, research-based, updated 30 July 2026).
- Dupple picks Housecall Pro for fast setup with built-in marketing (16 June 2026, affiliate-funded).
Pricing. Housecall Pro’s pricing page lists Basic at $59 a month billed annually ($79 monthly) for one user, Essentials at $149 ($189 monthly) for five users and Max at $299 ($329 monthly) for eight users. CSR AI, which answers calls and chats, is sold separately, and its price is not published. Contractor Tool Stack reports that the Sales Proposal Tool for good, better and best options is included in Max and an add-on on lower plans.
Watch out for. Housecall Pro holds a Trustpilot TrustScore of 3.0 from 573 reviews, and Contractor Tool Stack reports recurring billing and cancellation complaints. Add-ons, including CSR AI, raise the monthly bill on lower plans.
Vendor claims. Housecall Pro’s 2025 AI Industry Report, a survey of more than 400 of its own US customers from 10 to 25 April 2025, found that about 71% of trades professionals have tried AI, nearly 40% use it actively, and about 16% of AI users use it for quoting and estimating.
Proposify: best for designed proposals with interactive quotes
What the AI does. Proposify builds page-by-page sales proposals with interactive quoting, a product catalogue, approval workflows and e-signatures. Its pricing page lists “AI + MCP server” on every plan: an AI writing widget that prompts, rewrites, fixes grammar and condenses text, and an MCP server that connects Proposify to Claude for creating and updating documents.
Independent evidence.
- Proposify holds a G2 rating of 4.6 from 1,144 reviews.
- Zapier picks Proposify as the best proposal software for detailed page layouts (July 2024, affiliate-funded).
Pricing. Proposify’s pricing page lists Build at $35 per user a month billed annually ($49 monthly), Grow at $325 a month billed annually with five seats, and Scale at $1,066 a month billed annually with 10 seats. Custom template design costs $1,500 and the Grow launch kit $2,000.
Watch out for. Proposify’s pricing page sets monthly send limits with overage charges per send, from $0.30 to $0.75, and uses different plan names in its send-limit table from its main plans, so confirm the allowance in writing. Its AI writes and edits; it does not price.
Vendor claims. None used in this ranking.
Qwilr: best for interactive web-page quotes
What the AI does. Qwilr builds quotes and proposals as interactive web pages with a quote block, an ROI calculator and an accept block. Its pricing page lists AI assistant integration through MCP on every plan, and AI Prefill and a “Smart Proposal Engine”, which generate proposal content, on the Scale plan only.
Independent evidence.
- Qwilr holds a G2 rating of 4.6 from 935 reviews.
- Zapier picks Qwilr as the best proposal software for interactivity, with embedded video, ROI calculators and booking calendars (July 2024, affiliate-funded).
Pricing. Qwilr’s pricing page lists Starter at $35 per user a month billed annually ($49 monthly), Growth at $55 per user a month with a five-user minimum and Scale at $75 per user a month with a 10-user minimum, both billed annually only.
Watch out for. Qwilr’s AI Prefill sits on Scale only, so the cheapest way to get it is 10 users at $75, or $9,000 a year. Qwilr is the most expensive route to AI-generated proposal content on this page for a small team.
Vendor claims. None used in this ranking.

Using ChatGPT or Claude to write quotes
Many small businesses write quotes with a general assistant instead of dedicated software. General assistants are ranked on best AI chatbots; for business use, ChatGPT Business costs $20 per user a month billed annually with a two-user minimum (OpenAI Help Center), and Claude Team costs $20 per seat a month billed annually (Claude pricing).
Three facts decide whether a general assistant is enough:
- A general assistant does not know your prices. ChatGPT or Claude will produce a plausible quote layout, but any rate, material cost or margin it adds without your price list is a guess. Paste or connect your own price list, and check every figure.
- Quoting tools now connect to assistants directly. PandaDoc has an app for ChatGPT that fills its templates and sends documents for signature, and Proposify and Qwilr offer MCP connections, so an assistant can draft inside the quoting tool rather than in a loose document.
- A quote written in a chat has no follow-up, approval or payment trail. Dedicated tools track when a quote is opened, chase unanswered quotes and convert an accepted quote into a job or invoice; Jobber, for example, sends automatic follow-ups by email or text.
Risks to check before you let AI draft your quotes
- AI drafts copy your past mistakes. Jobber’s and ServiceM8’s AI draft from your own quote and job history, so an underpriced past job becomes the template for the next one. Review your price book before switching on auto-drafting.
- AI can add or drop line items. No independent test of AI quote accuracy exists, and Contractor Tool Stack says of Jobber’s AI drafts that “you’ll review and edit every AI-drafted quote before sending.” Jobber, ServiceM8 and Estimo present AI drafts for review before anything is sent, and QuoteIQ lets you choose between auto-accepting AI edits and reviewing them (QuoteIQ).
- Discount approvals are the main guardrail in sales quoting. HubSpot Revenue Hub Professional supports standard approvals with up to 10 approvers and Enterprise supports advanced approvals with up to five sequential steps, according to Vantage Point, a HubSpot partner. Set discount thresholds that force a human approval before an AI-built quote leaves the building.
- Drawing extraction is only as good as the drawing. Paperless Parts says Wingman 2.0 identifies 14 times more technical elements per drawing than its predecessor but publishes no accuracy rate; its rule engine can force a no-quote when an unsupported material is detected (Paperless Parts).
- Vendor statistics are not independent. ServiceTitan’s claim of 1.5 times more estimates sold per technician comes from early-access customers, and ServiceTitan says the data “isn’t independently verified” (ServiceTitan).
- CPQ mergers change roadmaps. Conga now owns both Conga CPQ and the PROS B2B products after the deal completed on 2 February 2026 (PrivSource); ask which product is the long-term platform before signing a multi-year contract.
What the evidence says about quote speed and win rates
No independent, controlled study measures whether AI quoting software raises win rates or shortens quote turnaround. The figures in circulation come from vendors:
| Claim | Source | Type |
|---|---|---|
| 1.5 times more estimates sold per technician for Field Pro customers | ServiceTitan | Vendor claim from early-access customers; ServiceTitan says it is not independently verified |
| 60% fewer manual quoting steps; 70% shorter quote-to-order time; 80% faster quote generation | DealHub | Vendor-published customer quotes |
| ”4 hours” saved on tooling and quoting in the first week at one shop | Toolpath | Vendor-published customer quote |
| Active AI users in the trades save an average of 3.2 hours a week | Housecall Pro | Vendor survey of 400-plus of its own customers, April 2025, ±4.9 points |
| ROI in five months or less | Paperless Parts | Vendor claim |
The Housecall Pro survey is the only one of these with a published method: it surveyed more than 400 US trades business owners who use Housecall Pro between 10 and 25 April 2025, with a stated margin of error of ±4.9 percentage points. Its sample is the vendor’s own customers, so it describes Housecall Pro users rather than the trades as a whole.
Best AI quoting software for each need

Best for enterprises on Salesforce: Salesforce Revenue Cloud
Salesforce Revenue Cloud is the best AI CPQ for enterprises on Salesforce, because it is a Gartner CPQ Leader (January 2026), holds the largest enterprise CPQ review base on G2 and publishes its prices from $150 per user a month.
Best for enterprises outside Salesforce: Oracle CPQ
Oracle CPQ is the best AI CPQ for enterprises not on Salesforce, because it is a Gartner CPQ Leader for the ninth consecutive year and a Forrester CPQ Leader (Q1 2025), according to Oracle, with AI deal scoring and quote summaries.
Best for HVAC, plumbing and electrical: Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro is the best choice for flat-rate HVAC, plumbing and electrical quoting, because it pairs a flat-rate price book with AI wording help and an HVAC nameplate-scanning integration, from $59 a month billed annually.
Best for designed proposals: Proposify
Proposify is the best choice for page-by-page designed proposals with an interactive quote, because Zapier picks it for detailed layouts and it holds a G2 rating of 4.6 from 1,144 reviews.

How to choose
- Decide which of the three segments you are in. A plumber, a SaaS sales team and a CNC job shop all search “AI quoting software” but need different products; use the segment table above before comparing features.
- Check whether the AI prices the quote or only words it. Jobber, ServiceM8, Estimo, DealHub AI and Salesforce Revenue Cloud draft quote contents; Housecall Pro, Proposify and PandaDoc’s AI mainly write and edit text.
- Price the plan that carries the feature, not the entry plan. PandaDoc’s quotes start on Business, Qwilr’s AI Prefill needs Scale with 10 users, and HubSpot Revenue Hub quoting starts on Professional.
- Clean your price book first. Tools that learn from your past quotes repeat your past pricing, including mistakes.
- Keep a human approval step. Set discount and value thresholds that require sign-off, and keep auto-drafting on “review” until you trust the drafts.
- If you run a CRM, start with its quoting module. HubSpot users should test Revenue Hub and Salesforce users Revenue Cloud before adding a separate tool, because a quote tool outside the CRM needs an integration to keep deals and products in sync; the CRMs themselves are compared on best AI CRM.
- Ask CPQ vendors about mergers and migrations. Conga’s purchase of the PROS B2B business and Salesforce’s move from its older CPQ product to Revenue Cloud both affect which product you will be running in three years.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI quoting software?
The best AI quoting software for most people is Jobber, because it is the only ranked tool whose AI drafts the priced quote itself: Jobber AI drafts a quote automatically from each new customer request using the business’s past quotes and templates, the feature is included from the Connect plan at $99 a month billed annually, and Jobber holds a Capterra rating of 4.6 from 1,487 reviews. PandaDoc is the better choice for sales teams sending quotes and proposals, DealHub AI for mid-market CPQ, and Salesforce Revenue Cloud for enterprises on Salesforce.
What is AI quoting software?
AI quoting software is software that uses AI to build, price or write a quote. For trade and service businesses it drafts a priced quote from a customer request or job notes; for sales teams it builds a quote from a product catalogue with pricing and discount rules (configure, price, quote, or CPQ); and for manufacturers it reads a CAD file or drawing to estimate material, machine time and cost.
What is the best AI quoting software for tradespeople?
Jobber is the best AI quoting software for tradespeople, because it auto-drafts quotes from new requests, sends automatic follow-ups on unanswered quotes and includes auto-drafted quotes from the Connect plan at $99 a month billed annually. ServiceM8 offers AI quote drafting on a free plan, and Housecall Pro suits flat-rate HVAC, plumbing and electrical quoting. Software for running the rest of a trade business is ranked on the best AI for tradespeople page.
Is there free AI quoting software?

Toolpath has a free plan with 10 machining estimates a month, and Estimo offers a 30-day trial with 10 AI-generated quotes. PandaDoc’s and HubSpot’s free tiers do not include quote building.
What is CPQ software?
CPQ (configure, price, quote) software lets a sales team configure a product or bundle, apply pricing and discount rules, and produce an approved quote. Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for CPQ Applications, published in January 2026, evaluated 16 vendors, and Infor, Oracle, PROS (now part of Conga), Salesforce, SAP and Tacton each announced a Leader placement.
Which CPQ software is a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant?
Infor, Oracle, PROS (now part of Conga), Salesforce, SAP and Tacton each announced a Leader placement in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Configure, Price and Quote Applications, published in January 2026. Oracle says it is a Leader for the ninth consecutive year, SAP for the eighth and Tacton for the fourth, and Conga says its own CPQ was placed as a Challenger. Vendors date the report between 21 and 26 January 2026.
Can ChatGPT write a quote?
ChatGPT can write a quote’s layout and wording, but it does not know your prices, so any rate or material cost it adds without your price list is a guess. PandaDoc’s app for ChatGPT generates proposals using a company’s own PandaDoc templates and sends them for signature. ChatGPT Business costs $20 per user a month billed annually with a two-user minimum.
How much does AI quoting software cost?
AI quoting software costs from free (ServiceM8, Toolpath) to $29 a month for Jobber Core billed annually, $49 per seat a month for PandaDoc Business and $150 to $200 per user a month for Salesforce Revenue Cloud. DealHub AI, Oracle CPQ and Paperless Parts are quote only.

Jobber AI Voice, labelled beta, can create and edit quotes hands-free in the mobile app. Auto-drafted quotes are available on the Connect, Grow and Plus plans.
Is AI quoting accurate?
No independent benchmark measures the accuracy of AI-drafted quotes. Jobber, ServiceM8 and Estimo present AI drafts for human review before they are sent, and Contractor Tool Stack scores Jobber’s AI estimating 3.0 of 5, saying its trade-specific accuracy is “still light.” Check every price and line item before sending.
What is the best AI quoting software for manufacturing?
Paperless Parts is the specialist quoting platform for machine shops and contract manufacturers, with Wingman AI that extracts tolerances and material callouts from drawings, and Toolpath produces cycle-time and cost estimates for CNC milling with a free plan of 10 estimates a month. Neither is ranked on this page, because their independent evidence is limited to user ratings. Manufacturers selling configurable equipment use enterprise CPQ such as Tacton, a Gartner CPQ Leader for the fourth year according to Tacton.
What happened to PROS CPQ?
Conga, owned by Thoma Bravo, completed its acquisition of PROS’s B2B business, including its CPQ, on 2 February 2026, after Thoma Bravo bought PROS. PROS’s travel business stayed with Thoma Bravo. PROS was named a Leader in Gartner’s January 2026 Magic Quadrant for CPQ Applications.
