OpenAI shipped always-on agents as Trump got the AI bosses to sign
A conference full of launches, a rearranged set of ChatGPT subscriptions, and the heads of the big labs signing something over lunch at the White House.
OpenAI’s dots are always-on agents, one included with Pro Each dot runs on GPT-6 Astra on its own cloud computer, plugs into more than 4,000 apps and answers in ChatGPT, by voice call or in Slack and Teams. OpenAI includes one with Pro and Business Premium, though not yet in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK. Source

Trump got the AI bosses to sign a “morally binding” accord Musk, Zuckerberg, Amodei, Huang, Pichai and Brockman were among those signing up to internal evaluations, outside audits and board reviews at a White House lunch on Tuesday. Trump called it “almost like a constitution, in a way”, and ordered federal agencies to say “Super Intelligence” instead of AI. Source
America.gov launched running on Gemini and Grok It searches about 29,000 government websites and points people to federal services rather than replacing them, with versions planned for 2027 meant to let people finish some tasks on the site. Airbnb co-founder Joe Gebbia, now the US chief design officer, unveiled it; Gemini and Grok do the answering. Source
